Pizzeria La Lupa in Wipperfurth

Waited 45 mins for pizza. Turned up after 20 mins like the order told me to online. They told me 15 minutes when i turned up, took an extra 25... When i asked where my pizza was, the waiter brought it and it had been sitting on the counter. Cold now. No apology, just handed it to me and walked away. Piss poor for such a well reviewed restaurant. 2 stars only because the pizza was good (although cold).

Great food

What a nice surprise! We thought La Lula would be another mediocre Italian restaurant but no, the food, wine and service were fautless. The pizzas were different and flavoursome without being too salty. We particularly enjoyed the fermented pizza. The deserts (pannacota and tiramisu) were superb. All washed down with a great Chianti from an impressive selection of wines by the bottle and glass.

A great experience, this little Italian has so many delicious authentic starters with fresh produce - the artichoke with ricotta was a stand out, yummy pizza & fresh pasta. The wine lis was also impressive.

We’ve gotten pizza from here lots of times and they were always good. But eating in the restaurant and having it straight out of the oven was Amazing! One of the best Italian pizza restaurants in Brisbane! (The tiramisu was nice too).

Trendy place with an interesting menu and prices on the higher end, but food that failed to impress with small portions of pasta with not enough meat to be satisfying. The pizza had a nice crust, but also flavour that didn't WOW anyone.

Most amazing restaurant ever!! Charlie our puppy loves it too!! The pizza is delicious! And the negronis go down really nicely. Great atmosphere and lovely owners.

First time we came, the waitress dropped a pizza on my gf. They offered two glasses of wine and didn’t say anything about dry cleaning. Charges us in full for the meal as well. Gave it another chance and although the food is good, the service isn’t your good Italian service. It’s more of a rushed experience, unfortunately. The pasta also came half cooked. It’s hit and miss as we struggle not to really like the spot.

I had the tuna tonnata and the vaccinara rigatoni. Both amazing. The pasta is incredible.

Who would have thought we’d witness a miracle on our Saturday evening date night dinner, we assume Jesus himself is running this restaurant, because apparently if you cut a prawn in half, it miraculously becomes two, according to the owner when questioned about our $23.00 entree. He then went on to say, and I quote, “you have one prawn, you cut it in half, then you have two prawns” I don’t think I need to say anymore, however my partner and I were that dumbfounded, I went on to ask him, “I am a woman, if you cut me in half, does that make me two women?” Anyway, about the food... the beef cheek pappardelle was bland and non inspiring with the drinks servings so stingy and small, overpriced and laughable. Rude owner and would not recommend this place to anyone. Pure arrogance of the man and his ridiculous concept of value for money and quality Italian food.

Service was attentive and staff were engaging and delightful. We shared the Moreton Bay Bug spaghetti with squid ink which was devine. Followed by a classic - Margherita pizza. Will definitely return

The food was fine, our party of 4 all had pizza which was very enjoyable. The issue we had was our waiter seemed to be on speed most of the evening. We were rushed when ordering and there was just a lack of manners in everything he did, which he did at a breakneck speed. My wine glass was cleared at the end when i was still drinking from it. In summary, good food spoilt by an annoying waiter.

Incredible food, excellent wine and amazing service.

The food was authentic, delicious Italian fare, and the service was absolutely impeccable. The spaghetti Cacio e Pepe was absolutely amazing. We went with the share starter and wine recommended by our waitress - both great recommendations. The overall experience was amazing, and our dining experienced capped off a celebratory night!

Had a lovely time chatting to the friendly staff at La Lupa tonight both before and after enjoying some of the evening's specials - buratta with zucchini pesto, fettuccine with mushrooms, and steak with salsa verde - all were delicious.

I love this place. I ate there around 4 or 5 times (onsite and pick up) and never had a bad dish! Everything is simply made with love. The pizzas are particularly good but I enjoy trying the specials of the day too because they are always a good surprise. The wine is great and the service top notch!

Dining at La Lupa is always an amazing experience,. From the delicious entrees through to the beautiful pastas and pizzas. You cannot forget the amazing range of Italian wines on offer. Highly recommend this for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian food.

5 stars for the pizza, minimalist in presentation and overwhelming delicious flavours - very close to authentic Italian pizzas. 2 stars for the service, waiter was disinterested and couldn’t spend less time at our table if he tried. My advice, takeaway 😉

Really friendly service from Amazon who was great! The pizza bases themselves are brilliant, let alone the toppings which are incredibly fresh and flavoursome. Definitely an Italian highlight.

We have finally found what in our opinion is Brisbane’s best Italian Restaurant. Every bite of every dish we tried took us back to our Italian holiday of 2017. We left with a smile on our face. Do yourself a favour, & book a table at La Lupa.
